Pencil-headed sculptures: The "Craft" Work

To boost Cicero's image as a high-profile political magazine, a unique campaign was designed to catch special attention. German artist Ragna ReuschKlinkenberg carved faces of the most influential international politicians into the tips of Cicero pencils which were sent to the respective politicians. The idea was to show that Cicero 'has politics directly from the source'. As a result of this campaign, Cicero's accepted interviews rose from 35% to 65%. It's a beautiful example of the rewards of intensive work and originality.
